Ahmed Taher

Ahmed Taher Abouzid, Chairman & CEO

Ahmed Taher obtained both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cairo University. Prior to founding Power House in 1993, he held different positions at Mantrac (Authorized Caterpillar dealer in Egypt) in Technical Field Service and Sales. Together with the different teams at Power House, Ahmed has layed the foundation for a very strong and ambitious company that is set to further grow and become a regional and worldwide player in power generation, pumping solutions and electromechanical contracting, always focused on efficiency and on achieving highest cost-savings and quickest lead times for clients.

Sherif Fayed, General Manager

Sherif Fayed Graduated from Cairo University Electrical Power Engineering Department. Comes with more than 21 Years of Oil and Gas industry experience working in International companies across 3 Continents (Europe, Africa and Asia). Sherif held various Management roles in his career across many countries including Egypt, Libya, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Pakistan, Romania, Ukraine and Nigeria. His latest assignment was Weatherford Country Manager for Egypt, Libya and Sudan.

ahmed elkholi

Ahmed Elkholi, Financial Manager

Ahmed Elkholi graduated from the Faculty of Commerce, Mansoura University in 2005 and obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Australian institute of business in 2010. Prior to joining Power House in 2007, he worked as an Accounting Manager at Al Sharq Insurance.
Serag

Serag Hafez, Head of Oil and Gas Sales

Serag Hafez graduated from Cairo University in 2000 with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.  He worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University from 2000 to 2006, followed by his own private company which he managed from 2006 to 2011. He joined Power House in 2011.
Waleed

Waleed Sallami, Head of Sales, Power Generation and Pumping Solutions

Dr. Waleed Sallami graduated form Cairo University in 1998 with a B.Sc. In Mechanical Engineering and earned his Master’s degree in 2003. He then received his PhD in 2009 form Cairo University’s Mechanical Engineering Department.
He started his career as an engineer in the Research & Development department of one of the top companies in the manufacturing of diesel generators. In this position he designed and manufactured the first prototype of a locally-produced sound-proof canopy and oversaw the launch of the production line for sound-proof diesel generators in 1999. He took part in various international projects and events such as the export of generators to Iraq under the Oil-fo-Food UN Program, exporting gensets to Japan after the Fukushima incident and providing generators for the Millennium Ceremony which took place at the Giza Pyramids in 2000.
He holds two patents for diesel particulate filters and has more than 10 papers published internationally
Omar Abouzid

Omar Abouzid, Business Excellence Director

Omar holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Bioengineering from the National Institute for Applied Sciences of Lyon (France). Coming from a Research & Development background, Omar is keen about operational excellence and efficiency and is keen on taking his family business to the next step.
