About the Job

  • Prepare the financial statements in a timely manner as per the company policies and standards.
  • Controls and maintains the general ledger and all related accounts with proper documentation and records of all company transactions; reviews entries to the general ledgers to assure accuracy and compliance with the company's and established accounting principles; controls all changes to chart of accounts.
  • Participates in the development of the policies and procedures manual to the overseen department, and monitors their ongoing implementation and compliance. Incorporates all changes upon their occurrence.
  • Analyze revenues and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on monthly basis.
  • Sends monthly financial reports (i.e. P&L, Analysis of actual vs. budget, bank reconciliation and Balance Sheet reconciliation).
  • Supervises and checks monthly bank reconciliation for all accounts; verifies accuracy of bank statements and resolve questions or problems.
  • Reviews and approves the inter-company reports reflecting payables and receivables received from the Senior Accountants.
  • Ensure timely processing of accounts payable & verify that all entries passed into ERP system.
  • Working with both internal & external auditors during financial and operational audits.
  • Budget follow up (actual vs. planned).
  • Acts as the primary contact with the other external auditors and tax Authorities.
  • Maintains fixed asset register, to determine depreciation terms/rates. Prepares report and sends to the CFO for review.
  • Maintains Inventory records, determining the best accounting treatment, as well as reviewing and approving the daily inventory movements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, an advanced related degree is an asset.
  • 8-10 years of experience with at least 3 years in a similar managerial position.
  • ERP Knowledge.
  • Manufacturing experience is a must‏

Job Requirements

Qualification:

  • Excellent computer skills, Office package (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Follow-up the company's internal regulations, rules and instructions that related to company's safety issues.
  • Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.
